This Week's Episode........
"Cruel and Unusual"
 September - 1998

"You sir, have affronted me!"
(aside) "I am am taken aback by his accusal of my affront! It is beneath me!"

The Great Lakes Medieval Faire was fun. The attendance was very consistent and we enjoyed performing on the new stage (...that is after Slash got oriented. He kept trying to visually reference the back wall of the stage when he spun around. Being a backless stage this made things a little... spontaneous). Vacation time! I can feel my vocal chords re knitting as we conclude seven months straight of continuous vocal abuse. This was not improved by the unexpected elimination of our sound system in Ohio. (The Bombast9000 mega-articulator, sonic-comedy-delivery system was sorely missed.) One month of fun and sun! Hack spent his off time working as a volunteer in homeless shelters, lobbying for human rights and inventing cures for exotic blood disorders while Slash mostly swam, ate pumpkin seeds and drank Frosters (a Canadian Slush drink).

Slash also appeared in "Ceilidh '98" a "Piping Hot Celtic Show" (-Burlington Post) as "Julia McChilds" (yes, there was a dress involved). The critically acclaimed production was directed by Broon and produced by The Tartan Terrors. It was fun!

We are hoping to make improvements this month on the site before our debut of our fifth original show "Cruel and Unusual" in Georgia (October). This show is brand new. Whips, chains, spikes, razor sharp samurai swords, shackles, watermelons......need we say more. We will perform this new stuff three to four times daily in Georgia then it will go into the four script rotation for the rest of our festivals.

Remember....."Always..." no it was "Never..." aw screw it.
