Hi to our Fans, Friends and Scarf Knitters Everywhere!

Thanks for the gentle prodding to update our pages. Slash will be making more regular updates since after 10 years on the road, living in his luxury dressing trailer, he is now permanently housed at an "undisclosed location." Yes, he can flush the toilet all day and take long showers without worry of "over filling the tank." He does regret, however, the lack of punch and any real sense to the new statement, "If the town house is rockin'..."

The U.S.O. Tour!

We were honored when Armed Forces Entertainment asked us to entertain the servicemen and women who were overseas. Being so soon after September 11th we were geeted by many people who were very ready to relax and have a laugh, as security at our overseas bases was tight and tensions were high. We visited 22 bases in Europe and were really grateful to the military for its truly outstanding hosptality! Everywhere we went we were greeted by friendly hosts and smiling faces in England, Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands and Norway! We were shocked to see at our first RAF base in Menwith Hill, a group of Hack and Slash fans, some wearing our t-shirts! We never realized how many fans we had in the S.C.A. who, all over Europe, showed up in costumes and high spirits to support the show. thanks guys!

We had some great drivers in all the countries including Paul in the UK and Fritz and Mike in Germany and abroad. For most of the tour we were in this cool Mercedes tour bus. It was the only one ever made and Jennifer Lopez was in it the week before so some of her stuff was still in it!

A few highlights:

Losing half our props (including swords) on our way to Norway and chasing them for a week! (While still doing shows in the bus driver's hiking boots!)
Hack losing his voice and Slash doing all the dialogue for a week!
Visiting the Tower of London, The Wallace Collection, Northern England, Amsterdam, Stavanger Norway, Historic Rothenburg, Waterloo and the electric toilet seats on the autobahn.

Our show in England, billed as "Hack and Slash, Adult Comedy Show!" (So we just used the f-word alot.)

Thanks to all our hosts all over. You were a pleasure to work with! We hope you enjoyed the show. A special thankyou to Captain David Mills and Commander Gerald Voorhies for "calling us up" for this adventure. We're already looking forward to next time!

Hack and Slash Christmas Special!!

Bring a stocking and have it filled! Pajamas are strongly encouraged. (Ladies are encouraged to wear those sexy "Santa's Helper" outfits, at Slash's request) Christmas beer nuts for all! Also, think of Christmas wishes because we wil be granting them! Anything that you think we can achieve during the show! We'll write them down and draw them from a hat! Look for guest appearances from Johnny Fox, the Hack and Slash Christmas Choir and many more!

Also our shows are still being recorded for the Hack and Slash Comedy Album! Slash is currently rebuliding his recording studio. We hope the album will be out in 2003!

Hack continues work on his company Stunt Theater Inc.. and is seeking theme parks and corporate sponsors who would like people to throw themselves from great heights, sword fght and set themselves on fire, all in the name of their product or event!

Slash just spent three weeks in California getting his trainer's certification in Neurolinguistic Programming. It's sort-of a blend of cognitive and behavioral psychology. There was a seven hour written exam and he passed with honors! It's part of his doctorate in Hypnosis and he is very proud to have been awarded this Trainer's certification. Keep an eye on www.hypnosisproject.com for updates on Slash's comedy hypnosis show activities. Expect a few shows in the DC area this winter! (and maybe a few in Ontario!)
