This Week's Episode........
"Slash and Kevin Bacon!"
 March - 1999

Slash: "We try to never direct negative energy at our audience."
Commidiot: "Uh... we can't really say that."

Greetings and Salutations. Before we get all chatty just a few items:

We're moving our site completely over to our hackandslash.com server. Right now we host most of our pages on aol but we're getting too big. So if you have bookmarks, they'll be wrong soon. You can always get us at:

Well, Hack had a blast directing the Florida Renaissance Festival's new stunt show and most of the burns are healing nicely, but we could still use a few more skin grafts if there are any more of you generous donors out there. Zoltan the Adequate is helping us with the website and it's coming along great! Check it out, shooting continue's for The Sarjeromsalot Productions independent film, Divine Intervention, which features performances by Slash and Broon. Read about it as the production wheels roll slowly along at REDAMEDIA or marvel at how close Slash is to Kevin Bacon on the Internet Movie Database! In fact, enter our new contest and win a free shirt for linking Slash to Kevin Bacon in the fewest possible movies! We are happy to say that we will be back at the Maryland Renaissance Festival this Fall for the first five weeks of the run. Slash is currently working on a new one-man, danger oriented show that we may toss in, now and again for one show a day in addition to our other shows (one word...unicycle...).

In more industry news, once "Divine Intervention" is released, preproduction for "Gallows Humor", a film featuring Hack and Slash, Broon and possibly other renaissance stage performers you may know, is rumored to begin. The story is set at a renaissance festival and many of the characters are stage acts. More on that in the future. Redamedia is still shopping a recent TV pilot around called "Speaking of the Unspeakable". It's sort of an X-Files meets Ghostbusters, meets Buffy the Vampire Slayer, meets Reservoir Dogs thing. If it gets picked up you can expect to see Slash as a semi-regular on the show, appearing as "Dr. Frank West", a hyper-intelligent, super paranoid triple PHD (archeology, parapsychology, demonology) with an itchy trigger finger. Speaking of X-Files, Slash's brother, Gibbet Montaunt (aka Ken Collins), recently appeared in the X/F episode The Drive as the "Pay before you pump!" gas station attendant. Way to go little bro! Finally, The Hack and Slash Animated Series is in the works! We have funding, a willing network (as of yet undisclosed...think cable) and four animation studios chomping at the bit. We are just one or two meetings away from starting preproduction on eight to twelve episodes! Keep your fingers crossed.

Well that's enough fer now. I've gotta get back in my box.
