This Week's Episode........
"Late for Waffles!"
March - 1998
.....as our opening episode fades up, we find our heroes by a shimmering lake in somewhere in Northern Ohio. As preparations for the Great Lakes Medieval Faire build to a frenzied pace, the Combat Chess arena is quickly being converted to a stage that will accommodate both the "Combat Chess" and four H&S shows daily! The seating will be greatly increased from last year's numbers at the Crusader stage and will be fully shaded! What's more, the shows will be forty-five minutes instead of thirty so we don't have to rush and skip over opportunities for ad-libs and goofing around. We will be debuting some brand new and dangerous skills in unannounced sneak preview shows of "Cruel and Unusual" our new show that we will open in at the Georgia ren-festival, this fall. Which brings me to the subject of the Maryland Renaissance Festival. We will not be appearing in Maryland this Fall, but will be rather in Georgia. Just a simple business circumstance, no big drama to speak of really. We may work it out for future seasons. Georgia promises to be a great time as we break in our new stuff, sharing the stage with The Zuchinni Brothers (with whom we will undoubtedly collaborate in some wacky mischief) and Dominique "The Cat Man" (in whose freaky stylings we stand both in awe and cult admiration of.). We will, however, miss the gracious Maryland audiences there that have supported us since we created our silly show on the no longer existent "center stage". By the way, ask Green Zuchinni about his brush with death at the Alabama Renaissance Festival if you see him (I saw the whole thing!).
You are all rogues and villains! See you soon in Ohio!!!!!
