Chicken #2: "BAWK, BAWK...... BAWK."

Fellow action heroes, before we get all chatty just a few items:

Hi to our Fans, Friends and Swashbucklers Everywhere!

Announcing the brand new Hack and Slash Hotline!
Now you can find out all about where the action-comedy laughs are, 24/7, on the new hotline. If you purchased Christmas Special tickets online, you probably printed out a voucher. You will need to trade that ticket voucher in for a ticket at the show before you can get in line for seating. Call the hotline for tips on how to get your tickets smoothly. There are also fun messages from Hack and Slash and the Make a Wish Foundation, as well as information on all the upcoming January Hack and Slash shows!
Call the new 24 hour Hack and Slash Hotline at (703) 229-1700!

By the time you read this, the Christmas Special has probably completely sold out!
We'd like to thank the cast, crew and everyone attending this year's Hack and Slash Christmas Special the Musical. A portion of the proceeds from this year's show will be used to grant the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions and enrich their experience with hope, strength, and joy. Your support will have a real, actual impact on the lives of our very special wish kids and their families by helping to fulfill their fondest wishes.

Wishes like that of Karlie, age 7 whose dream was to be a princess. Through the support of Make a Wish, Karlie became a princess for a day, complete with tiara, a beautiful gown and a ride in a white horse-drawn, rose-lined crystal coach to her very own coronation party as over 1700 supporters from Karlie's hometown cheered her on.

Karlie's mother was amazed at how the magic of a wish allowed her daughter to laugh, escape her battle with cystic fibrosis and experience something magical. It is because of that same spirit of magic and laughter that we know The Hack and Slash Christmas Special and it's crazy, fun audience are a perfect match for Make-a-Wish... Because you all know "It's a holiday everyday if you believe!"

January 21st, Encore Show in the Baltimore Area!

Comedian John 'Hack' Davis of Hack and Slash hosts an evening of outrageous comedy entertainment. The evening will feature Spencer 'Slash' Humm as his grave-digging comedy alter ego, Barry Croaker, offering his usual fare of twisted observations and coffin-shaped children's books. Spencer Humm's Barry Croaker is the main character in a promising, upcoming television pilot and he rarely performs in the Baltimore area, so come catch this rising comic live while you can!

The Boneless Chicken Cabaret, recent winners of the DC Comedy Festival, Featured Act at the 2006 Miami Comedy Festival and opening act for national headlining comedian Emo Phillips, will fill out the second part of the bill with their unique brand of fully-feathered improv comedy. With three men in chicken suits performing comedy, based on suggestions from the audience, how can you go wrong? The entire show is in clucking gibberish and is unabashedly silly. This award-winning mystery-comedy-team, made up of successful DC comedians, (rumored to include Slash!) with over a decade's comedy experience under their belts, guarantees big laughs!

We presented this show in December, in Arlington and it was sold out! This show will feature new material and will be videoed for an upcoming DVD, so come on out and be a part of a fun evening that will live on long after the curtain closes!
For tickets and information, call the Chesapeake Arts Center at (410) 636-6597.
All tickets are $14 in advance and $20 at the door.

Emmit's Boys Reunion Show:
As if there weren't enough going on... We thought since we're bringing our old buddy Broon all the way from the west coast to do the Christmas show, why not look up a few more of the funniest guys Slash has ever worked with and put together a reunion show of Emitts Boys, a comedy improv group. Years ago, Slash, Brian 'Broon' Howard of the Broon Show and Bob Garman, Jim Neib and Jack Reda from the Bloody Drama show and a few more guys performed as Emitt's Boys, DC's Toughest Comedy Group! The show is January 4th at 9pm, at The Comedy Spot in Arlington, VA (buy your tickets on their website!). Tickets are just $10 for adults and children will be confiscated at the door. We guarantee you'll laugh until you pee or your money back!

Visit our improved online store!
We are so very pleased to announce that you may now purchase DVD's in our online store through our new partner filmbaby.com. Watch the trailers and order your Christmas Special or Operation Swashbuckle DVD's whenever the spirit moves you. What else will be in the store? We are working on a cast recording of this year's Christmas Special on CD and a Barry Croaker DVD and they will appear in the store in 2006. As far as T-shirts go, you'll just have to come to a show for now, but we are thinking about offering some custom-made swords very soon!

Be an action hero!
We are in the planning stages for the first ever 2006 Hack and Slash Action Hero Camp! Finally, a place where action-minded adults can learn to swordfight, crack a whip, throw a punch and other essential skills for the modern-day swashbuckler. Other possible topics; wire-work, fire stunts, high falls, and an optional skydiving day! Sound like fun? Email us at herocamp@hackandslash.com and we'll send you info as the camp planning is complete! It looks like it will be a weekend event for this first year, sometime in the summer. Stay tuned!

Well, that’s all for now kids. Have a happy and safe New Year and we’ll see you all at the Christmas show!
