Hi to our Fans, Friends and Swashbucklers Everywhere!

Greetings! We are happy to announce that we have been asked once again to go to overseas to entertain the troops. We will be touring from late Febuary to early April. The last time we went was right after 9-11 and this tour promises to be an equally interesting time to visit with possible war brewing. Nevertheless, we are anxious to go back. U.K., Germany, Belgium, Netherlands, Norway and did someone say Iceland? Anyway, someone drop by the Slashcave and feed my fish please. We'll bring back more exciting pictures of our adventures.

We are happy to be returning to the Georgia Renaissance Festival April 26th thru June 8th. Thanks Atlanta for having us back! We'll be at the King's Hall stage for most of the day and our last show is on the Halfwit Harbor Stage. See you there!

We have not contracted for Summer and Fall, but we anticipate a possible run at the Ontario Renaissance Festival and we always hope to be back at the Maryland Renaissance Festival.

After ten years of great shows at the Great Lakes Medieval Faire, we have decided to take some time away from the faire. Ten summers in a row in Ashtabula, Ohio is enough for any swashbuckler. We'll miss all the fans, especially Don and Betty, as well as all of our friends who perform and work there.

...now onto some fun!

The 2002 Hack and Slash Xmas Special!

It was October and that could only have meant one thing for Hack and Slash... celebrating Christmas! Our last show of the season has traditionally been our Christmas Special! Why, you ask? Why not? I mean, who doesn't want to have their own Xmas special? So what if we have to have it in October because there are no shows in December? Now that we've straigtened that out...

Thanks to everyone who participated including:

Johnny Fox who dropped in with freshly baked cookies for all and let us decorate him with tinsel and swallowed the neon sword of Christmasness...
Michael Rossman and Big Phil, Our Jewish bretheren who lit and juggled candles from the 15 foot flaming Menorah. (Which also lent an unintentional KKK visual motif.)
The Hack and Slash Christmas Choir, who opened the show and sang jolly carols throughout. (and ate the cookies)
The World's Tallest Stiltwalking Elves, especially the cute one.
The Pajama Squad, who assisted in wrapping hack and Slash like a giant Xmas present for the "Magical Christmas Escape"
Eric the T-shirt Elf , who hung and filled the stockings brought by all. (More than thirty stockings this year!)
Nymblewyck the Fire-Eater who blew a giant Xmas fireball for the roasting of chesnuts...
Maggie Sansone who lent her hammered dulcimer prowess for some holiday cheer..
The Rogue of Scotland who piped in and played "Jingle Bells" on the bagpipes...
...and so many more holiday spirited folks!

Also our shows are still being recorded for the Hack and Slash Comedy Album! Slash's new super recording studio is nearly complete, no thanks to a faulty AMD processor. We hope the album will be out in 2003!

Hack continues work on his company Stunt Theater Inc. and is seeking theme parks and corporate sponsors who would like people to throw themselves from great heights, sword fight and set themselves on fire, all in the name of their product or event!
