The movie documents the experiences of Hack (John Davis), Slash (Spencer Humm) and comedy-juggler Todd Key as they travel aboard helicopters, Hum-V’s and whatever else will carry them to forward-operating-bases that have, in many cases, never hosted entertainment before. “A Hack and Slash Christmas Carol” - CD
This full-length, comical version of Charles Dickens' "A Christmas Carol" features the original music of composer Maia Rodriguez. The "Hack and Slash Christmas Special, the Musical!" is a popular holiday event which draws thousands each year in the DC/Baltimore area. John Davis stars as “Ebenezer Hack” and Spencer Humm delivers a very funny musical performance as “Marley’s Ghost”.
Recorded in Los Angeles studios, it features live instrumentals from noted symphonic ensembles and vocals by New York and Los Angeles musical theater stars, including heartfelt vocal performances by John “Hack” Davis and a dark, scolding performance by Matt Snyder as Christmas Future.
